It was a great system just like NO Mercy. Good mechanics and I wish it was brought back

WCW/nWo Revenge is the best wrestling video game ever. Even future N64 games didn't reach the levels this game did. No Mercy was also a very good game but there were some flaws in it that made it an inferior game.

Not trying to argue...I'm genuinely curious as to why you believe Revenge was so much better than No Mercy.

I went for Revenge too. It took World Tour and made it better w/o removing a bunch of features like they tend to do nowadays. The create a wrestler feature was pretty much just clothing swaps but I remember having hours of fun with my edited Benoit into Dynamite Kid and Davey Boy Smith vs. Hart Foundation matches.

No Mercy opponents would hit this point where they'd counter almost everything you did and they wouldn't even be on special. Also the ladder match in No Mercy sucked. There were also cosmetic things like the fact that tag teams came out seperate in No Mercy but together in Revenge.

For me, I thought that the No Mercy ladder match was the one fun ladder match I've played...stupid Smackdown games. With No Mercy, I could make just about anyone I wanted to, so that was another huge plus...but as a Sting mark, Revenge had the awesome bit where if Sting did a run-in or entered after the initial four in a battle royal, he came down from the rafters. THAT was awesome.

WCW vs. The World was ok....but they are all sub-par compared to Fire Pro or even the All Japan pro-Wrestling (Saturn)
