Madison Square Garden New York October 18, 2007 Card 20 1. Dan Severn reverses a fireman press slam and hits Harker Dirge with a german suplex for the pinfall in 6:41. Dirge put up a good fight throughout the match and he seems better than his 1-3 record shows. ***
2. Brass Knuckles Match Iron Mike Dibiase Vs Ted Dibiase Both men are soaked in blood as this match comes to an end at the 15:08 with Iron Mike collapsing in the center of the ring. Ted’s victory was helped in large part to Virgil and his own set of brass knuckles at ringside. Virgil was put out of action by Iron Mike at the Shea Stadium supercard. ***1/2
3. The Valiants defeat Billy red Lyons & Red Bastien with a Jimmy Valiant falling knee drop. Believe or not this is the Valiants first win in the LWF **1/2
4. Cage Match Killer Kowalski VS King Kong Bundy Kowalski dominates most of this match and is on the way out the cage door after a bombs away knee drop when Bundy pulls him back and delivers a running powerslam for an easy exit in 12:01 ***
5. World Title Match Frank Gotch (Challenger) VS Buddy Rogers (Champion) The longest and perhaps the toughest of each man’s LWF career ends after 48 minutes with Gotch tapping out to Roger’s figure four grapevine. ****

He's been on a roll winning his last 4 matches against Sandman, Larry Hennig, Dan Severn, and Harker Dirge. I know rating him number 2 might be a high ( probably should be 4th or 5th) but he's definitely shown the most improvement and earned a shot at the US title.
