Johnstown War Memorial Johnstown PA November 29, 2007 Card 24 1. Mr. Wrestling II submits to the Sheik’s Camel Clutch - The Sheik ( With the Grand Wizard) debuts in the LWF by defeating Mr. Wrestling II. Wrestling II remains winless since being promoted from the USWF. * 2. The New Age Outlaws VS The Samoans - Alofa and Samu win by disqualification in 8 :46** 3. The Mountie (With Bobby Heenan ) VS Bobo Brazil - Brazil defeats The Mountie in 7 :19 with a Coco Butt. After the bell the Mountie attacks Brazil from behind with his shock stick and holds up Brazil so Heenan can give him a humiliating beating. Mr Wrestling II runs out and clears the ring on Brazil's behalf. 4. Doctor Death VS Giant Baba - Williams gives Baba a run for his money and manages to knock Baba off his feet several times throughout the match with football tackles and standing dropkicks. Baba catches a break with a boot to the face and quickly takes advantage and goes for the 3 count. Baba looks both relieved and exhausted as he makes his way back to the locker room. 12:27 *** 5. Lou Thesz VS The Destroyer - Lou Thesz defeats former United States Champion The Destroyer with a Greco Roman Backdrop in 3:43 *1/2 Bill Apter’s Hotseat - Frank Gotch explains the mechanics of his Toe Hold finisher and demonstrates it on a unknown jobber during Apter’s show. Gotch’s old enemy Jim Londos walks out on the set and calls Gotch’s move overrated and demonstrates his airplane spin on the same jobber and asks Apter to be the judge of which is better. Apter suggests the two settle it with a finisher VS finisher match

1. Angelo Mosca VS Bob Backlund Mosca manhandles Backlund for the majority of the match with stomps and elbow drops. Before Mosca has a chance to load the elbow pad Backlund reverses a running clothesline and delivers a delayed vertical suplex for the win in 9:46 **1/2
2. The Vachons VS The Killer Bees This wild match ended up as a double in the ring disqualification after Mad Dog Vachon interfered following a Killer Bee double elbow and pin attempt by Blair in 16:23 ***
3. Loser Must Retire Mike Dibiase VS Ted Dibiase
Ted has his dad dead to rights and goes for the pin when Virgil enters the ring and attacks Ted breaking the count. Ted manages to toss Virgil from the ring and turns his attention back to Iron Mike who is en route with a Top rope knee drop. Iron Mike gets the easy pin forcing his son to retire from pro wrestling ****
4. Frank Gotch VS Lou Thesz Thesz had 2 near falls with a Thesz press and a released power bomb. Gotch comes back with an Iowa backdrop and follows it up with the Gotch Toe Hold forcing Thesz to tap out in 12:56. To date Gotch has won 8 out of his 11 LWF victories using his toe hold finisher. ***1/2
5. United States Title Match Buddy Rose ( Challenger ) VS Ox Baker (Champion)
This match set an offical LWF record by having a combined 13 tosses from the ring and 10 eye gouges. Amazingly both men avoid being disqualified and the match ends with a clean finish with an Ox Baker knee drop to the head. Providence Civic Center Providence Rhode Island January 10, 2008 Card 27 1. The Mountie (with Bobby Heenan) VS Harker DirgeHarker Dirge defeats The Mountie with a leg drop over the ropes followed by two swinging neckbreakers. After the match The Mountie tried to sneak attack Harker with the shock stick. Harker saw it coming and fireman press slams The Mountie, tosses the stick to the crowd, and hits the Mountie with another swinging neckbreaker for good measure. ** 2. The Rock N Roll Express VS The New Age OutlawsGood match with lots of back and forth action and neither team holding the advantage for long. B.G James throws Ricky Morton from the ring and gives him a LWF welcome with a concrete piledriver. Robert Gibson runs to his partners aid and tries to help him back in the ring but he’s counted out. *** 3. Ivan Koloff VS The DestroyerTough match for both men with Koloff getting the win in 12:34 with a top rope knee drop *** 4. Pepper Gomez VS Giant BabaNeither man gets the decision and the match ends in a draw after 45 minutes. **** 5. No Disqualification Dan Severn VS Jimmy SnukaSnuka finally gets revenge against Severn for putting him out of action last month . Snuka beats Severn all over the arena both inside and outside the ring. He climbs the top turnbuckle and is about to finish off Severn with a superfly leap when the Shiek shows up at ringside and tosses a fireball in Snuka’s face. Snuka falls hard outside of the ring and both the Sheik and Severn take turns brutalizing him( under the direction of Abdullah Farouk) with foreign objects , chairs and a leather strap. Finally Severn drags Snuka back in the ring and puts the finishing touches on Snuka with a choke sleeper. ***1/2 Next Show
