As participation is picking up in the real wrestling sections, I think it's important we keep a few etiquette guidelines in mind when participating.
1. Keep your comments constructive. We encourage everyone to feel the freedom to voice their opinion on anything going on in wrestling, but for the sake of everyone's enjoyment in these discussions, some etiquette should be followed. Posts that take no time to articulate an opinion (such as "blah blah sux") or are made with the intention of antagonizing another poster are not what we consider constructive here.
2. Keep discussions friendly. There's a fine line between a spirited debate and a heated argument. Frustration and anger usually comes out in posts. If you find yourself wanting to insert a few verbal jabs against another member while in the midst of typing out a post, that's a good sign that you probably need to drop out of the discussion.
3. With any post that you make, be prepared for someone to disagree with you. If you don't want your opinions on a subject to be scrutinized, it's best that you don't post them on a discussion board. The subject is professional wrestling, and everyone's opinion is going to differ. Rebuttals are permitted as long as they are kept constructive and friendly.
Rather than have to use the Mod Hammer and explain why later, I'd prefer to lay out these guidelines now with the hope that everyone will police themselves so that we don't have to.
