I don't think she beats Trish Stratus, Fabulous Moolah, etc. I know it's fun to make your favorite wrestlers as strogn as possible but you don't really have that luxury in Legends. She's easily better than Trish and I never did see much of Moolah wrestling her her prime to make a judgment. Trish developed into a good tactician, but she had very little strength. Beth has almost as much agility as Trish and tons more power plus more wrestling skill. Her background in all types of grappling is much strong than Trish so she improvises better.

She can't work that well. She's all right at what she does, but she doesn't elevate her opponents in any way. Also, other than Mickie, she has no competition (which is really depressing about the WWE women's roster right now)

Also, other than Mickie, she has no competition (which is really depressing about the WWE women's roster right now) But you've just pointed out why she doesn't elevate her opponents. It is because none of them are that good. She could have great matches with Trish, Victoria or Molly Holly, those being the ones who could hold their own in a match against a good foe. Right now she can't put together a great match because it just isn't too believable that most of today's divas could be real competition for her. This would be an ideal time for Vince to break down and bring Chyna back. She could make a believable competitive match against Beth. Chyna had the same problem as Beth when she was in the WWE. All the women were so much weaker than her that she was forced to wrestle against men. I hope that Beth doesn't have to go that route to get good matches. Also, I've been checking out other posted female cards and Victoria has power -2. I'd be amazed if anyone thought that Beth was just one step up in power from Victoria. Chyna's posted card has power of -4. I just wanted Beth to be in line with what is already out there.

I wouldn't put Chyna at -4 either. It's supposed to be a rare stat. Legends doesn't match COTG for stats, most wrestlers shouldn't be higher than -2 usually.

Isn't it incredible that Beth Phoenix has drawn this much talk!?!?! ;D

I dont think it is Beth Phoenix that drew the talk as much as the guidelines for a card

Legends really needs a slightly different explanation from COTG cards as they're banded in a much tighter group than COTG is.

I thought that the max numbers were -5 and +5. You say this should be a rare stat. Out of all of the women I've seen rated there are now two that are -4 and that's not the max rating. So how rare is rare? If you bunch the ratings too close together you might just as well flip a coin to decide and not have to create cards.

In legends -4 is a rare rating. The GWF guys have -4 and -5 often because that is how those card are written. The Legends cards are more realistic

But I know of well over 100 female wrestlers who have been rated and just two have gotten a -4. Doesn't that count as rare?
In LOW who has gotten the -4? Are they more dominant with their strength among men than Beth is over the women with hers?

true but with a -4 she can beat the elite guys and that isnt right. And Chyna never won the Intercontinental title? But if you make the adjustments on her that is suggested when women wrestle against men, I don't think she's got that much of an edge. Plus, I really have to ask, how many people put men against women in their feds? Is the comparison really and issue? I keep hearing about how Beth would do against men but isn't the larger issue is how she would fare against the bootleg women, since there haven't really been enough official women cards made to make a difference.

What would her Rahl rating be after making the adjustments for male vs. female matches?
Rickert listed the adjustments on page 1 from the 2112 companion but I think the ones in the LOW companion are a bit more strict.
