FROM THE DESK OF: WEIRDJEROD AND CANADIAN PITTBULL...
We here in the PNW have recently been informed by our physicians that both Don Muraco and Don Leo Jonathan have sustained injuries in recent matches. Against Dr.s orders, and our best judgement, both men have been given the go ahead to participate in our weekly televised tapings. However, until they are given a 100% clean bill of health, they will NOT be allowed to go and the road and participate in any of our house shows. We appologize to our many fans and encourage you to tune in every Saturday night to see these 2 legends in action.

HOUSE SHOW: MONDAY FEBRUARY 5TH, 2007 FROM THE TILLAMOOK ARMORY
1)In a match that resulted from the fall out of Saturday night, The Missing Link came out with revenge on his mind. The link started strong and had Schultz on the ropes, til the Dr. took the match outside of the ring. The ref appeared to have a loose interpretation of the rule book tonight as he consistently allowed Schultz to batter the Link mercilessly on the arena floor. When they finally returned to the ring, a weakened Link fell quickly to a Corkscrew Elbow... time 7:21 *1/2
2)The Goon Squad took on Air One and it was obvious from the start that Steamboat and Red Lyons had patched up their differences. They kept Stevens worn down and Hennig at bay the entire match with split second double team maneuvers and perfectly timed tags. The Goon Squad seemed to have other things on their mind as they were unable to get out of the starting block. A top-rope body press mercifully put away an exhausted Stevens. After the victory, Steamboat pointed to his waist and then at Stevens, will we see a title match soon?... time 9:28 **
3)In a complete donnybrook, bitter rivals Joe LeDuc and Yukon Eric pulverized and battered each other all over the Tillamook Armory. After several minutes of complete mayhem, which saw both men bleeding profusely, the referee threw out the match and called for the double disqualification. Neither man seemed to notice as they fought to the dressing room... time 7:49 **1/2
4)In a brilliant display of wrestling, Bret Hart was narrowly able to lock Bob Orton into the sharpshooter for the submission victory... time 15:08 ****
5)The Main Event of the night never got off the runway as the Crusher was jumped by Vachon before the bell and absolutely brutalized for several minutes, ending up bloodied and easy prey to a Piledriver and pin. Afterwards, Vachon was joined by LeDuc to brutalize the Crusher until Bret made the save running the Mafia out of the ring... time 3:19 1/2*

HOUSE SHOW: FEBRUARY 7TH, 2007 FROM THE LANE COUNTY FAIRGROUNDS
1) In a fantastic opener, Bob Orton and David Schultz (subbing for the injured Don Muraco) and the Kangaroos, with Red Berry, battled to a double dq as Al Costello and David Schultz were unresponsive to the warnings of the referee as they battled outside the ring. After the match, all 5 men battled back towards the dressing room... time 11:36 ***1/2
2)Billy Red Lyons pinned the Missing Link with a Crossbody Block off the top-rope... time 4:27 1/2*
3)After a slow start, Bret Hart weathered 2 Axe's and came back to make Larry Hennig tap to a picture-perfect SharpShooter... time 9:57 **
4)In a wild No-DQ affair, Joe LeDuc (with a timely assist by Maddog Vachon) was able to put away Yukon Eric after throwing him through a table and following it up with 2 consecutive Canadian Leg Drops... time 14:37 ***1/2
5)In a surprisingly quick match, Ray Stevens was dq'd for his tactics outside the ring against Ricky Steamboat. After the match, Steamboat grabbed the ringside mic and accused Stevens of cowardice and knowing he was unable to beat him. The Dragon then challenged Stevens to put up his TV title if he "has the guts". Stevens walked to the back without response... time 2:17 1/2*
6)The Crusher was able to defeat Maddog Vachon in a Coal Miner's Glove match. Joe LeDuc came out to assist Vachon and was blindside by Yukon Eric with a steel chair. After laying out LeDuc, Eric taunted Vachon, allowing Crusher to get the Glove and knock out Vachon. After the match, Yukon and Crusher celebrated to the wild cheers of the crowd... time 13:49 ****

THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 8TH, 2007 HOUSE SHOW SEATTLE CENTER ARENA
1)The Missing Link (surprisingly accompanied by Wild Red Berry!!!) was able to capitalize on 2 chair shots and the timely distraction of Berry to get the pin over Billy Red Lyons in a shocking upset... time 9:32 **
2)Al Costello and David Schultz wrestled to a 10 minute TLD in a surprisingly clean and scientific match... time 10:00 ***1/2
3)Bob Orton pinned Roy Heffernan after Heffernan missed a turnbuckle charge. Red Berry attempted to interfere, but was knoggin'-knocked into Heffernan by Orton to set up the pin... time 7:49 **
4)In a non-title match, Ray Stevens was able to pin Ricky 'the Dragon' Steamboat in a fantastic match. Steamboat appeared on the verge of victory when Larry Hennig appeared at ringside and distracted Steamboat. After the match, Billy Red Lyons came down and the 4 men brawled viciously throughout the arena... time 14:39 ****
5)In a Tag Team Title match, The Canadian Mafia (w/ CPB) was able to retain their titles against the Legends (w/ Yukon Eric). The match was back and forth the entire time, with both teams enjoying the upper-hand and several near falls. Late in the match, The Crusher was wearing down Maddog Vachon in the ring, while Hart, Eric and LeDuc were battling outside the ring. CPB jumped up on the ring apron to interfere wen Billy Red Lyons came down and grabbed him off the apron. Lyons went for a chair and CPB dove into the ring. Lyons followed him in and swung for the fences, but CPB ducked and Lyons connected with the Crusher. Afterwards, Vachon pushed Lyons out of the ring and crawled on top of Crusher for the 1-2-3. After the match, The Mafia escaped quickly to the dressing room as Lyons was trying to explain what happened to a very angry trio of Legends... time 17:56 ****

SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 10TH, PORTLAND SPORTS ARENA TELEVISION TAPING #2
Dark Portion of the taping:
Weirdjerod welcomes everyone back to the 'house of action'.
wj--"there are several issues that need to be addressed tonight, first off, Ray Stevens. You WILL defend your T.V. title here, next week against Ricky Steamboat. Secondly, Canadian PittBull, your actions this past week at several house shows..."
CPB--"Whoa!!! weirdjerod, you need to check your memo's, boy-o!! My actions this past week were 100% acceptable for A LISCENSED MANAGER!!!!! Check it, boy-o, here's my card, and here's your sign!!! I have every right and privelege of..."
wj (smiling)--"Yes, you do. Yes, you do... AND, as a manager, I have final say over stipulations surrounding you!!! Tonight, when your boys defend their title against The Legends, you WILL BE HANDCUFFED TO YUKON ERIC!!!"
CPB--"WHAT?!?!!? This is crap, I'll be looking into this and you'll be hearing from my attourney!!!" CPB storms back to the dressing room...
and now to the matches
1)The Goon Squad and Air One battled to a double countout as Stevens and Steamboat were battling outside the ring and did not return before the referee's count. Hennig managed to get Lyons tied up in the ropes and joined Stevens in an assault on Steamboat. By the time Lyons got untangled, Steamboat was laying in a pool of his own blood and had to be assisted back to the Dressing Room. Stevens had the house mic and told Steamboat "If you survive this next week, you'll get you're title shot, but the odds don't look good for you!!" time 12:56 ***
2)Don Muraco and Bob Orton were dq'd in their match against the Kangaroos. After 2 blatant interferences by Red Berry, David Schultz came down and clocked him with a chair. He then proceeded into the ring and took out Costello. As he was waiting on Heffernan to turn around, The Missing Link came through the crowd and blindsided Schultz with a chair shot of his own!!! Link then proceeded to down a stunned Orton and Muraco. The Link and Heffernan then helped up Berry and Costello and the 4 stood mid-ring arms raised... time 17:22 ***1/2
after the match, Red Berry grabbed the mic--"Well, it seems everybody has a friend or 2 around here and I thought we'd better even the odds!!! Meet our honorary member, "The Missing Kangaroo"!!! Schultz, Orton, Muraco...how about you meet us here in this very ring next week and we'll see how tough you are when the odds are even!!! AND, Mr Cornette, you have not yet responded to our little challenge, so we may have to get your attention..." with that, the 4 men left the ring
televised portion
The show opens with footage from the back of Yukon Eric layed out in his dressing room with the Canadian Flag over him...
The Legends are in the ring with a mic Hart"This is crap!! Weirdjerod, if you can't keep that Canadian poseur from running amok, we may just have to take matters into our own hands!! The Crusher and I don't care how you do it, but you need to neuter him or we will!!" Billy Red Lyons enters the ring... Lyons--"Bret, Crusher, I know I screwed up this last week in Seattle, but I just hate the reputation those goons give us Canadians. Surely you can understand that, Bret? Give me a chance tonight and I'll be your corner man, I promise you won't be disappointed." Bret and Crusher have some words off-mic, with the Crusher finally nodding and Bret saying"Don't Blow this, Billy..."
3)Don Leo Jonathan pins David Schultz following 3 Mormon Swings. After the match, Muraco and Orton run towards ringside to assist Schultz, but are blind-sided by chair swinging Kangaroos. As Schultz groggily gets back to his feet, DLJ clotheslines him over the top rope and leaves him lying at ringside as he returns to the dressing room... time 9:29 ***
4)In a NO-DQ rematch from last week, Wahoo McDaniels was able to defeat D**k Murdoch after a Piledriver outside the ring rendered Murdoch unable to prevent the 3-count. After the match, Wahoo was attacked by David Schultz and Rip Oliver until Ricky Steamboat and Billy Jack Haynes came out to make the save... time 9:41 ***
5)With Billy Jack Haynes helping Wahoo McDaniels, Ricky Steamboat is mugged by the Goon Squad. As Haynes turns his attention to assist Steamboat, he is attacked from behind by his opponent for the evening, Rip Oliver. Rip tears into Billy with a vengeance, weakening him with a variety of maneuvers, setting him up for 3 Shoulder Breakers and the 1-2-3... time 4:27 *1/2
up in the crows nest, weirdjerod has the house mic--"This is getting out of hand, next week, we're putting a cage up around that ring, inviting all you boys into the ring and we'll see who's standing at the end of the night!!! You know where to find my office if you've got the cones to show next week!!!"
6)In the main event of the evening, The Canadian Mafia took on The Legends for the PNW Tag Team Titles. With Billy Red Lyons handcuffed to an irate Canadian PittBull, The Legends were in fine form. After dismantling LeDuc, Hart tagged in the Crusher who began pummelling LeDuc around the ring. Vachon attempted to interfere, but was met by a Crusher Clothesline whichsent him out of the ring. As Hart and Crusher double-teamed LeDuc, it seemed the Mafia was about to be shut down. All of a sudden, Lyons unlocked the handcuffs binding him to CPB. Lyons handed something to Vachon and went up on the ring apron to get Bret's attention. As a confused Hart was distracted, Vachon clocked Crusher from behind with a length of chain and rolled LeDuc on top. 1-2-3 as Lyons holds Bret to keep him from making the save and then for LeDuc and Vachon to double-team with the chain. As Steamboat, Jonathan and Haynes run in to make the save, Lyons raises the arms of the Canadian Mafia as they retreat to the dressing room time 13:42 ****
tune in next week...
